Hello All,
I know Dogtab is Redhat/Fedroa based. But I have products that also run on
Ubuntu. Has there been any attempts by anyone to build and run dogtag CA
server on Ubuntu? Any pointers on this will be helpful. Thanks in advance
experts!

Yes, a preliminary incarnation of 10.1.0 can be found here (source name
pki):
https://launchpad.net/~freeipa/+archive/ubuntu/ppa
10.2 is still WIP.

By preliminary, do you mean feature or readiness parity with Fedora
version?
Additionally, are there support for cert auto renewal & rollover ? This I
guess is a common question for both distros. At Dogtag wish list (
http://pki.fedoraproject.org/wiki/PKI_Wishlist ) 'renewal' is listed.
However the list was last updated in Feb 2010. I wishfully think some from
this list might already be in:)

Both, I guess. It only has the CA subsystem packaged IIRC, and is only
lightly tested by me and maybe others (haven't heard feedback).
